Why I started this
“I’m Judy — a Kenyan in Dubai. I started this because I was already the person friends and family asked to ‘pick something up’ on every trip home.”
Living in Dubai, I saw two things at once: the UAE has almost anything you could want — genuine, often far cheaper than back home — and the people I love in Kenya had no safe, honest way to get it. They were sending money to strangers, paying hidden fees, and hoping. Sometimes the box that arrived wasn’t what they paid for.
So I made it simple: one person you can name. You tell me what you want. I find it in the real stores — Sharaf DG, Sephora, noon, the malls — I send you the full landed cost before you pay a shilling, and I photograph the actual item in my hands before it ships. If it’s not right, it doesn’t leave Dubai.
That’s the whole promise. No call centre, no marketplace, no algorithm. Just me, accountable, on the other end of your message.
